It’s okay if you’re not okay. We all experience moments in life where we feel hurt, disappointed, and sometimes even wounded by past traumas. In my own story, I have experienced various types of trauma, and I have come to find that these wounds, even though they are incredibly painful, have provided space in my life for God’s love, peace, and hope, to shine even brighter. Trauma and problems do not just disappear, as much as we often would like them to. It is in allowing yourself to be vulnerable and acknowledging the pain that you can begin to heal. Wherever you are at in your story, know that you do not need to walk this road alone, it would be my greatest honor to walk along side you on this journey of healing and restoration.

When I am not working, I enjoy being creative in many different forms from painting to drawing, or writing. I also enjoy listening to music, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

My Approach

I believe that providing a safe space for people to share their story is foundational to building a strong therapeutic relationship and being able to be vulnerable within that relationship. I generally approach things from a person-centered approach and believe that you are the expert on your own life, and that I am there to walk along side you as you reflect and process your experiences. While I may approach things from a person-centered approach, I do not believe that one theory is right for everyone and may use concepts from TF-CBT, DBT, MI, Narrative, or IFS.

What you can expect

You can expect a safe place to just be you and share your story. You can expect a place that is free of judgement and treats you with dignity and respect. But most of all you can expect that you are not alone in this journey towards healing and that together we will help you find the path towards healing.
