My story thus far has not always been sunshine and rainbows. I have gone through many emotional trying seasons. Some of grief, loss, illness, but also many that were beautiful, and allowed me to grow. I am a breast cancer survivor (5 years). Cancer is what motivated me to finally do what I feel called to do, be a counselor. I hope to walk with you through whatever season in life you are in.

When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, listening to music, kayaking, reading, photography, spending time with friends, and family. You can also find me laying in my hammock outside- this is my happy place.

My Approach

I believe in a client centered approach. You are the expert of your life, so I let you guide our sessions. I will be there to help you process and grow. I like to work with cognitive behavior therapy and positive psychology that focuses on your strengths and preferred future/solution focused. However, I am trained in many different techniques and will work with whatever approach is best for you.

What you can expect

You can expect to feel accepted as you are and always given grace. Life can be hard. I am here to help you along your journey and be a source of positive support. You will always be seen and heard. I am not here to judge you. I will offer tools and techniques for navigating your thoughts, feelings, emotions, experiences, and relationships. Any and all feedback is always welcomed!
